Painful Goodbye

It started with your misunderstanding,

Ended with a haunting future!

Starting from a zero,

I am moving ahead like a failed hero!

I saw the good person in you,

But you choose to expose the bad one!

Proving me wrong multiple times,

You won, I lost again! 

It took me years to say a word  - ' goodbye',

Controlling my cry out,

Holding my unconditional love for you,

I choose to pause to our never ending battle !

It wasn't the end but a start,

To know our existence,

For our pride!

Getting away from you,

But coming closer to you,

To love you more than yesterday,

Without you , loving you everyday !
